What was Karen’s experience with the Styles Certification Program?
My experience in the Styles Certification Program, and in working with the Market Force team, has been refreshing and enlightening. I am thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to connect with new content, thoughts and people to not only help build my identity, but to work towards supporting others to build theirs.
Karen’s biggest takeaway from the Styles Certification Program?
The hardest part of this question is narrowing it down to the biggest takeaways and learnings. There has been so much useful information shared, from the foundational approach of the program around personal evolution, to the various applicable overlays of Market Force, and all the layers of quality supporting materials inbetween, it is difficult to choose. But the biggest impact takeaway for me would be the quote that says, “If your survival strategy runs your business game, it will compromise your reputation.”
What does Karen intend to do with the Market Force material?
I believe that work can be easier and more enjoyable. I believe that business has become over engineered and over complicated, and that those complications are dangerous distractions for our people, our businesses, and our communities. It’s not sustainable or productive, and I know it can be. My intention is to change the way the world works, as in change the relationship that people have with work. Instead of people feeling the burden and pressure of a job, that they could more easily find richness, joy and fulfilment through their careers. Market Force has an intention of reducing the suffering in business, and that feels like a very real alignment with my intention.
What does Karen want everyone to know about Market Force Styles?
That it is accessible and it works. It’s not an academic tool, it’s a business tool, so you can understand it and implement it with ease, which makes it accessible. I know it works because from the time I was first introduced to it, I was able to apply it and experience directly how it helped reduce friction, increase productivity, and accelerate performance for me and my team. All of a sudden, it was easy to understand why what I had been doing before was giving me limited results, so I could pinpoint what I was doing that wasn’t working, understand why it wasn’t working, and identify what my new option was. Knowing all of that is very powerful for reinforcing implementation into how we work everyday.
