Jaap’s Story
Jaap was introduced to Market Force shortly after his commercial real estate firm merged with Colliers International Netherlands in 2010. Since that point, according to Jaap, “I use the material almost every day, at work and in my private life as well. I have done train the trainer work to deliver Market Force, and have delivered speeches on Market Force to groups of real estate and International business students.”
Why Market Force?
For me, it’s because Market Force is based on survival instincts, making it more accurate than working with other profiling tools. Also, it’s a very positive training because it’s about creating the right balance between wealth and wisdom in life. In my view, it’s the best training if you want to improve your skills in human dynamics – once learned, it will benefit your life. It’s a common language to improve relationships and performance.
Favorite Market Force Story?
Using Market Force Styles to help me interview new candidates. I love demonstrating, after a couple of minutes, how well I understand them just based on their Style. Candidates are positive and surprised that after such a short time I can relate to them so well.

Breakdown Recovery Model. As the saying goes, “breakdown-solution and then you die!” That is my favorite.
